Campsite Rules

No one likes hearing about rules but our campsite rules are created with you in mind, and help to ensure that everyone on-site has the best possible experience. We ask that you are courteous and respect one another whilst on the site. We know there won’t be any problems, but to safeguard your holiday and relaxation we respectfully ask that everyone adheres to the following:

Upon Arrival

When you arrive or are about 1/2 hour please contact the site on 01202 621852/07982757348 so that a member of the family can greet you and show you to your pitch.

Arrival/Departure

Pitches are available from 3.00pm  up to 6.00pm on the day of your arrival, but we do not allow arrivals after 6.00pm. You are requested to vacate your pitch by 12 noon on your day of departure. If you wish to extend your stay, please contact Reception before 10.00 am on your expected departure date. Permits issued at Reception must be on display at all times.

Pitches

Advice will be given upon your arrival as to the best place to pitch your tent. One windbreak is permitted per pitch, with a maximum of six poles.

Fire Regulations

You will find fire extinguishers and fire buckets in prominent places around the site, please make yourself aware of where these are located. In case a fire breaks out, a hand fire alarm is located near the wash up area to alert the other campers that there is an issue. Only to be used in an emergency.

Barbecues

Because of the danger of fires in the forest, open fires are not allowed on-site. Only gas or electric barbecues may be lit provided they are raised off the ground and are in a suitable container – no wood or charcoal burning. Please ensure the smoke and fumes do not annoy other site users. In times of very dry weather, when the fire risk is high, the use of barbecues may be restricted. Please see a family member for advice.

Speed Limit

The speed limit on-site is 5mph. As there are often young children playing, we ask you to take special care when driving on-site.

Dogs

We offer dog-friendly caravan and camping holidays on our site. However, we request that dogs must be kept on leads at all times whilst on-site. Please be courteous and always clean up after your dog. This is at our discretion so please discuss this when booking. Only one dog per pitch allowed. Please see further Terms and Conditions for breeds we do not allow on site.

Noise

Please keep noise at a level which will not disturb other site users, especially between 10.00pm and 8.00am.

Cleanliness

We make every effort to keep the site facilities clean and tidy and ask for your assistance in maintaining this standard by using the refuse and recycling bins and chemical disposal points provided, and by leaving all facilities clean after use.

Visitors

If you are expecting any visitors, please let a family member know.

Vehicles

On booking your holiday you will be asked to provide your vehicle registration to help with security on site. No commercial or site written vans, trucks, pick ups or cars are allowed on site.

Areas on Camping Ground

On the camping ground we have drainage ditches and areas that out of bounds and private to the family. Please be respectful to these areas. If you require access to retrieve lost items, e.g. kites or balls please ask a family for help, do not try and retrieve the items yourself.

Wildlife on Camping Ground

On the camping ground we have a lot of local wildlife including deer, grouse, pheasants, rabbits, squirrels, and numerous types of local birds. Please do not engage or feed them as they are well looked after. Please be respectful of them and their habitat keeping pets and children at a safe distance.
